K5LYT 80m Antenna Party

A few of the STARC hams got together on November 1st at the home of Robert, K5LYT (Little Yellow Taxi), to complete phase 1 of an antenna raising.

Steve, W2MY, had worked with K5LYT, to design and build a set of 80m and 40m inverted V dipoles to replace the old antennas at Robert's house.  Juan (Robert's yard man) had climbed the telephone pole in the back yard to attach the 80m antenna at the top, but it was up to us to get the ends secured to supports so that Robert could get back on the air.

Those that braved the great weather were:
Rob - W3ROB, Jim - KE6DRE, Steve - NØWZH, Holly - KE5EOM, and Steve - W2MY.

K5LYT was gracious and offered us pizza for lunch.  (we work for food!!!!)

Here are a few of the pictures taken during the event.  No one was hurt during the event which is always a good thing.
