Thanks to EVERYONE that came out for the event. Hams at the event included Larry - W5LDB, Joe - KC5CVM, Pete - ?, Gill - WA5YKK, Bob - W5JYJ, Holly - KE5EOM, Steve - N0WZH, and then we had two visitors (one of whom had just passed his Technician test earlier that Saturday morning and the other had just upgraded to General). The NWS staff were great hosts and fed us well with fresh grilled bratwurst sausages, home made potato salad, and baked beans with all the trimmings. Our total contact count was down from previous years, but our number of contacts with other NWS offices was up slightly. The ARRL had a good article on the event. It can be viewed HERE . PICS: |
