Meeting Notes: After punch, coffee, & cookies, the meeting was called to order by the our new president, James, AD5TC. First order of business was to officially present our Coastal Bend Amateur of the Year award to Pat Allison, KD5TXD. Pat was unable to attend the December dinner due to bad weather. After a few announcements, the meeting was turned over to John Metz with the National Weather service to give the annual Skywarn Storm Spotter training program. John did a great job as usual with a lot of local pictures of weather events. We had a total of 30 people in attendance at the meeting with approximately 5 non-hams there for the Skywarn presentation.
